Reflections

Who: The Reflections program is open to all Lyons Farm Students.  Students can choose to participate in one or all three art categories offered: Literature, Photography, and Visual Arts.  Students will be entered into one of three Grade Divisions (Primary, Intermediate, or Special Artist*)

What: The 2023 - 2024 Reflections theme is "I am hopeful because...." Call for Entries Video 

When: Entries must be turned into the Media Center by 7:45 AM on Friday November 3rd, 2023. Lyons Farm Elementary PTA will judge and submit our category winners to the Durham Council of PTAs by November 15th, 2023. 

How: Students will need to submit an entry form in each category they participate in. For instance, if a student plans to submit a submission into all three art categories, that will require the student to submit three entry forms. Entry guidelines are shared further down in English and Spanish.

To help us manage our volunteer needs, we're asking families to also  indicate their interest in participating. You can share you intent to participate using this  form.

*Special Artist Division: Students who identify as having a disability and may receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504 may enter in the Special Artist Division or grade division most closely aligned to their functional abilities.
